Hampshire College students can opt to help out on the farm as a part of their work study.

How did we get to #10?

So, how did Hampshire College get to be rated #10 out of 100 schools? By filling out a submission questionnaire, of course!

We were asked about everything, including our energy use/ sources, where our food comes from, student initiatives, classes offered, transportation, waste management, school investments, and much more.

We are a group of Hampshire College students, looking to assess how sustainable Hampshire really is and whether our environmental mission statement is being upheld!

We’ll be posting interviews with students and faculty as well as other information about sustainability and environmental action at Hampshire.

What does it mean to be rated one of the top 10 greenest colleges? We hope we can find out!
